Gelato Flavors

Italian Top Sellers 

  • Banana Dulce de Leche: Literally this gelato is bananas! We pick our bananas straight up from the docks and ripen them naturally and only when the bananas have reached their peak ripeness do we use them for the base of this gelato.   We then add our scratch made dulce de leche and chunks of bittersweet chocolate to help highlight this sweet tropical treat.  You will not believe how rich and creamy this recipe is!+
  • Crema Siciliana: A traditional and much beloved dessert from the area of Palermo, Sicily. It is made with real ricotta cheese, marzapan (almond) paste and candied fruit.  We have painstakingly formulated this recipe to reflect our love for this pastry. It is considered to be one of our signature flavors and is always a quick trip home for Italians and tourists. The gelato is rich and has a slight floral flavor from the almonds and studded beautifully with dried tart cherries, cranberries, golden raisins and miniature chocolate chips.
  • Italian Pistachio: organic  roasted and ground California Pistachios along with an insane amount of pistachio butter is than added to fresh dairy milk for the perfect pairing.  Note this is a smooth Italian Pistachio.
  • Ginaduia/Nutella: For this continental classic we take some of the world’s finest Belgian chocolate and mate it with the most beautifully organic hazelnut butter from Oregon.   We have specially sourced this hazelnut butter and have the nuts roasted and ground to our exact specifications for inclusion in our gelatos.  Such fanatical attention to the smallest details yields a unique gelato, an irresistibly creamy texture, and true flavor purity. 
  • Nocciola/Hazelnut:  The true flavor of the hazelnut/nocciola, is quite delicate and is often overpowered in desserts and is generally regarded as one of the most difficult gelato recipes to master.  For this reason hazelnut gelato is often used as a measure of a Gelatiere’s skill by gelato aficionados that both understand and appreciate the difficulty in faithfully using this ingredient.  For our version of this classic, we feature premium organic Oregon hazelnuts which have been roasted and ground to our specifications.   An insane amount of  hazelnut butter is added to fresh dairy milk. The result is an uncommonly smooth gelato with a warm earth pallet and just enough sweetness to satisfy.
  • Millefgolie: A light pastry cream of mascarpone cheese and a hint of Marsala wine. Sounds a bit weird, but you need to try it. Just as in the Tiramisu, the hint of flavor is what makes it!   For those of you that do not know Millefgolie, it translates into “thousands leaves” and is like a traditional Italian wedding cake consisting of alternating layers of crispy pastry and delicious cream.   The end result is a luxurious delicate gelato that is a study in culinary restraint.
  • Stracciatella: In Italian it means “little shreds.”  To us, it is the most magnificent Fior di Latte (Italian Sweet Cream) gelato that is plentifully studded with dark chocolate chunks.   
  • Tiramisu: A tribute to the traditional Italian dessert, mascarpone cheese is paired with sweet marsala wine lady fingers and a hint of espresso.

Vanilla Top Sellers

  • Vanilla Bean: Real Madagascar vanilla caviar is added to sweet cream and aged 24 hours for a very intense take on this classic flavor and while it can stand alone as a dessert, it pairs well with everything on the menu. We are especially proud of our Vanilla Bean flavor!

Chocolate Top Sellers

  • Belgian Dark Chocolate: We are dark chocoholics, so this flavor is a labor of love.  Deep, rich and creamy are the hallmarks for this recipe.  Premium dark chocolate and superior cocoa are fused with fresh dairy to yield your next chocolate obsession
  • Raspberry Chocolate Noir (S): To help accurately describe this darker than dark chocolate sorbetto we have christened it Chocolate Noir.  We mate super premium Belgian dark chocolate with even deeper Dutch cocoa powder.  No milk or cream is allowed to get in the way of this celebration of chocolate decadency.  It is sure to be every chocoholic’s new obsession.

  • Cappuccino:  Cappuccino is as quintessentially Italian as gelato, so we took extra care in replicating its flavor profile.  Rich European roasted espresso is infused with milk and cream to capture the frothy assertive nature of this Italian staple.    
  • Caramel Macchiato:  Our version of this coffee house favorite starts when we directly import single estate green coffee beans from Guatemala.  The beans are then locally roasted to our exacting specification by our partners at The Chosen Bean.  Next a 24-hour cold brew process creates the perfect coffee and means we are ready to start making the gelato.  Rich, and full of flavor this is a coffee lovers fantasy and just because we cannot leave well enough alone we stud this deliciousness with chocolate covered caramel truffles.  This is sure not a flavor to be missed.

Fruity Top Sellers

  • Coconut Cream: Tropical and intense, we use only premium organic coconut and steep it in fresh cream then fold in tender pieces of shredded coconut.
  • Key Lime Pie: We let our Conch Republic flag fly with our key lime pie.   A time-honored recipe that is both tart and sweet, it is everything that true key lime pie should be. And so, you don’t have to ask…we do use condensed milk and real lime juice, just like in Key West!
  • Mixed Berry (S): Oh My! Strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries In Italy this flavor is called Fruitti di Bosco or “fruit of the forest” but we just call it a delicious quadruple berry classic
  • Strawberry Cream: Vine ripened strawberries picked at the height of perfection are introduced to fresh milk for this pleasantly tart and oh so creamy gelato
  • Strawberry Cheesecake:  Rich, creamy and smooth with just a hint of tang.  This flavor is inspired by the classic New York cream cheese cheesecake and even comes with a strawberry swirl

American Top Sellers

  • Birthday Cake:  It’s a birthday celebration in a bowl.  We have captured everything you love about this dessert down to the funfetti sprinkles and best part is that you do not have to wait another year for your next helping.
  • Bourbon Butter Pecan (A):  A southern classic kicked up with enough premium Kentucky Bourbon to get grandpa’s seal of approval.  Our maple custard gelato gets spiked and then blended with delicious Georgia pecans.  All you need is a spoon and a rocking chair.
  • Buckeye Peanut Butter: This is our version of Ohio’s favorite confection.  We start with extra creamy peanut butter that has been blessed with a hint of saltiness.  To that we fold in a measure of premium organic hazelnut butter that takes this gelato to a whole new flavor level.  Finally, at the heart of it all “Buckeye” candies are studded throughout to complete this celebration of our States nickname.  This gelato is perfect for a day on the lake, an afternoon tailgating at the Horseshoe, or just a night relaxing on the couch.    
  • Cookies and Cream: Gelato Roberto in Portland, Oregon is credited with the creation of this flavor in 1978. We carry on the tradition by folding in chunky crème cookie pieces into our Italian Sweet Cream gelato
  • Cotton Candy:  Everyone’s favorite fair sweet is frozen in gelato form.  This pale blue treat is classically sweet with a hint of raspberry essence and is sure to be a hit with kids of all agaes.
  • Mint Chip: Crisp fresh mint is blended with luxurious premium bittersweet chocolate chunks to yield this creamy and refreshing treat.
  • Rum Raisin
  • Sea Salt Caramel: Caramel is delicious, but Sea Salt Caramel is outrageous.  For our version of this wildly popular flavor we were inspired by the smooth and complex flavors of the Argentinian Dulce De Leche that we kiss it with a hint of fleur di sel salt and fold in these beautiful chocolate covered sea salt caramel truffles to make this work of art complete
  • White Chocolate Raspberry Chip:  White Chocolate is not an inclusion it’s a flavor!  We take premium Belgian white chocolate and blend it with fresh cream then stir in dark chocolate chunks and a ribbon of house made raspberry sauce as the perfect flavor counter points. 

Sorbettos


  • Coconut (S): Sweet, exotic and creamy.  For this sorbetto we use only the freshest organic coconut milk and fold in tender pieces of shredded coconut sending this flavor over the top.  With this flavor on hand a tropical escape is never further away than your freezer.  
  • Lemon (S): Sweet and deliciously tart with a refreshing finish.  Either as a palate cleanser or the finale to an over the top dinner, the natural flavor of fresh lemons is a real pleaser.
  • Mango (S): With our mango sorbetto the tropics are never further away than your freezer.  We use 100% Alphonso mangos and nothing else to flavor this bright and juicy sorbetto.  This is a show stopper and is definitely habit forming and impossible to have just one taste.
  • Passion Fruit (S): We directly import the finest Brazilian passion fruit for this bright and citrusy sorbetto with the most intoxicating aroma.  This sorbeto pulls double duty finishing off a heavy meal or cleansing the pallet.
  • Raspberry (S): You will feel like you are eating raspberries off the bush. Sweet and a little tart this sorbetto pairs perfectly with a decadent chocolate dessert as well as white or dessert wines.
  • Strawberry (S): This flavor starts and ends with fresh strawberries and seemingly freezes summer for later consumption.  Delicious sun ripened strawberries take center stage for this slightly tart sorbetto.
